Project Wild - Pacific Crest Trail Hike

Project Wild - 2650 Mile Pacific Crest Trail Hike

"I want to cause ripples in our culture, spread awareness for mental health ... I want to pay my respects to those firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and were unable to make it home to their loved ones."
          - Dylan Ghan

Dylan Ghan, a wildland firefighter since 2014, is looking for your help to support our wildland community. Ghan will be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, a 2,650 MILE hike from the border of Mexico all the way up to Canada. The journey will take over five months to complete. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure began on April 30th.

Ghan says by doing this he hopes to raise awareness for mental health and raise money for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. He says in order for things to change, he recognizes that we must be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

"It's time to step into the arena, start daring greatly,
and always choose the hard right over the easy wrong."
